Radical Women
Between authoritarianism, censorship and exile, eleven Latin American artists broke barriers between 1960 and 1985 with deeply feminist and political art. Inspired by the exhibition ‘Radical Women,’ the documentary recovers their voices and creative processes. With previously unseen archive material and appearances by Anna Bella Geiger, Cecilia Vicuña, and Liliana Porter, the film celebrates the power of art as an act of resistance.
