Penelope (Megan Stott) is a 16-year-old girl who feels out of place in the modern world. Drawn almost cosmically to nature, and with no plan in mind, she leaves her family behind and wanders into a captivating forest in Washington State, where she begins to forge an alternative life far from the comfort of home.
