Premiere: ‘Families Like Ours’ (Movistar Plus+), with the presence of Thomas Vinterberg
After its screening at the Venice Film Festival, Serielizados Fest premieres in Spain the first series created and directed by the Danish filmmaker, Oscar winner for ‘Another Round’.

Serielizados Fest premieres, in collaboration with Movistar Plus+, the series Families Like Ours, the first incursion of the Danish Filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg in the world of series. The production will be screened exclusively in Barcelona after its premiere in the Venice Film Festival, in a session that will include the presence of Vinterberg, known for films such as Celebration (1998), The Hunt (2012) or Another Round (2020), with which he won the Oscar for the Best International Film.
Families like ours is set in Denmark in a not so distant future. Rising water levels due to climate change have reached a non-return point and the country has to initiate an evacuation. While people scatter in all directions, they also try to say goodbye to their loved ones, the places they know and also to the people they have been.
